TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Definition
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By accessing and using our website, magazine, social channels and any content and features therein, you indicate your acceptance of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, the Code of Conduct and any other notices, guidelines and rules published by us on our Services from time to time. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not access and/or use our Services.
2. Advertising
-
As part of our Service we offer third-party entities the opportunity to advertise and promote their goods and services via our platform. This can take the form of digital banners, pop-up ads and content driven advertorials (see below 3).
-
A rate card detailing our scale of advertisement rates and technical specifications relating to the standard and quality of reproduction of any Advertisement including its setting, style, delivery format, file configuration and size and wording will be agreed upon with the client.
-
The terms and conditions of each advertising contract will be specific to the individual client as per the commercial agreement which is then binding.
-
This will also clearly detail “Advertiser Dependencies” in relation to the Copy Deadline and any other obligations of the client, specifically what is required and by what date. The client will be considered obliged to deliver this content and full instructions by the agreed date, including content format and file configuration to allow us to publish and carry out the client’s order. If the client submits its copy late then we reserve the right to publish the Advertisement at a time of our choosing.
-
Any imagery provided as part of the Advertising agreement such as photos, third-party images or videos from various social media channels or other means must be cleared of any potential copyright and have received approval for use by the client from the third-party before being sent to us for publishing use.
-
Should the client change its name, trading style, identity, address, or should any other details disclosed by the client as part of the Advertising agreement change, the client must give written notification to us within Five Working Days of such change(s).
3. Advertorials
-
As part of our Service we offer partnership opportunities for third-party entities to create and share content by way of Advertorials. An Advertorial is a promotional piece with a specific message or theme provided by the client that we will customise and publish. Advertorials can be either paid for by the client or unpaid, dependent on the agreement.
-
All opinions expressed in content provided are those of the client and do not reflect those of Brilliant-online. It is understood that all content provided is accurate and true and does not reference or instigate any form of prejudice, inflammatory remarks, slander or exclusion on the basis of gender, race, religion, sexual preference or politics; Brilliant-online has a zero tolerance policy to anything of this nature.
-
Any references to third parties must be cited at source and any images supplied must be cleared of image rights by the client. All resources received by Brilliant-online will be on the understanding that this process has been adhered to.
4. Code of Conduct
-
We adhere to the strictest standards of ethical conduct and regulations as per directives specified by the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA).
-
This stipulates that advertisements and other forms of marketing communications are legal, honest, truthful and have been prepared with respect for human dignity, an obligation to avoid harm to the consumer and society and a sense of fairness and responsibility to competitors. We absolutely do not tolerate any content that insinuates any form of discrimination be it on a gender, racial, religious or any other basis.
